How to get a playgroup into Pauper?

I have recently started suggesting to a group of friends that we should play pauper. It's obviously quite cheap, and fun interactive magic. Are there any particular (different) decks which would make for some nice 8mans for weekend play?

I am looking for variety, and nothing strictly the best. I have my eyes on UR DelverFiend, and another friend plays goblins in modern, so the transition is easy. What are fun decks which could be played alongside these to make a healthy pauper environment?

First of all, Pauper is generally an all-online format. Start by defining a clear banlist. There are things online that are commons, but not on paper, and viceversa.

Set a clear guidelines for building a pauper deck - you say do not want to build the best decks, but the next sentence you say you have your eyes set on delverfiend, a tier 1 deck in pauper.

Furthermore, I cannot think of more than 3 modern-legal goblins that are played in pauper, the transition is not easy, especially if buying Chain Lightning.

There are no universal fun decks in pauper, similarly to how there are no universal definitions of fun. I think pauper is the best format that matches Modern in terms of speed (delverfiend can have hands that win on t2 or even t1, for example, but usually turn 4) at a fraction of the cost of a single modern staple for a whole pauper deck. That alone should be enough of a hook.

my shop uses the online banlist, except anything that has been printed at common on paper is legal (which allows Hymn to Tourach, not sure if any other good cards are affected.)

other decks that i've seen at the shop:

mono u (usually wins the tourney)

mono b

slivers

rg aggro with kavus

boggles

ur delverfiend

affinity

here's another site with more ideas for a pauper metagame. the best thing about pauper, and what convinced me to build a deck and play, is that you can put something together for around $20 and bet set with an eternal deck you can bust out whenever people are playing pauper.

There is also tron lol. Soul sisters is pretty strong. Infect, madness, it is a very wide open meta really.

I made pauper decks to teach some people how to play. It is great for that.

Here are my pauper decks. They are not top notch, but they do alright. Bogles could use a ton of work, but I have not messed with it for a while.
