Modern Deck Help forum

Hey,
it'se me again, Freddi, with another crazy modern-deck-idea.
So, i've noticed that Restoration Angle and Felidar Guardian go infinite with ETB and LTB.
Now I thought about adding red for Impact Tremors and Kiki-Jiki, as well as Norin the Warry. Now this sounds a lot like a mix of r/w prison and Norin Sisters and yes, that's actually the case. I guess it's a little bit more janky, but I'm willing to try it.
How do i start with this though? Should I go with the Aether Vial to go off instant speed? Or rather a value plan with r/w sisters and a resto angel/the cat in the mix?
Let me hear what you think.

Why play Impact when you can just go Kiki-Jiki win? Turn 5 win off 2 cards as opposed to turn 5 "start a loop" that wins if I have 3 cards.

On a competetive note, i 100% agree with you. But I wanted to build this deck for a less competetive environment, so i want it to be a little bit janky.
If I were to go full out competetive I'd propably just play Nahiri/Emrakul prison with the Kiki Combo.

Especially given that you aren't trying to brew all-out competitive, I would think about running both Impact Tremors and Kiki-Jiki. One of the advantages of running a rogue deck is that the list won't be well known, and the same applies to your sideboard plan.

Let's say you win game 1 through Tremors. Opp might bring in Abrupt Decay or Natural State. So maybe board out 1 Tremors for one Kiki or vice-versa. You really have the opportunity to neutralize or mitigate your opp's plan, or at least keep them guessing.

Running the two also makes your curve flexible, and allows you to run more than 4X win cons. And the cards aren't totally redundant (though they're close); You might find it useful to grind an opponent down with Tremors and Norin on occasion. I'd maybe start with 3X Tremors and 2-3X Kiki, with an extra Kiki on the SB, and see how it goes?

I'd say whether or not to go Vial and speed, or sisters and value depends on how many wincons you run and if you have any cantrips or ways to dig for said wincons, i.e. it depends on how fast you expect to be. I'm thinking you might go value if you're depending on multiple cards with CMC of 4 or more.

Like the idea BTW! Good luck!
