Hi all, I've been playing mono black for a while now and my main problem has always been artifacts.Mono Black Obliterator
I tried to combat this by splashing red but there must be a better way than what I've gone for. Any help appreciated.
Affinity, and there's a jank mono red artifact deck that's often table topping at my lgs. I've splashed red and added a few bits and pieces. I can dominate game 1 but struggle games 2 and 3 more often than not. Affinity is horrible anyway so I'm not too fussed about that, but I like to he more prepared for artifacts

if we are talking about affinity, they often overcommit to the board (being an aggro deck after all), and can be hurt badly by boardwipe effect, due to the speed of the deck i would say that you should try Bontu's Last Reckoning over Damnation as that single turn can be crucial.

Black is just not good in destroying artifacts. Especialy when you are in mono black. Which artofacts or which decks do you have problems with?
The only real way to deal with artifacts in black is hand desruption but i dont know if that helps
