The new modern masters set packs come in these nifty little cardboard boxes with a pull tab to open them. it's this the new norm? Cuz I'm loving it

I think they were doing something for Earth Day, which was around the time MM2 came out. I don't think it's something that'll be the new norm.

It's pretty neat, but too bad I don't use the tab. I'm a savage.

Also it was way too easy to repack with whatever the fuck and resell to unsuspecting buyers. So I don't think they'll ever really go back to that.

They said they were going to try it and see what players' responses were. It may become something they'll keep doing in the future, but I wouldn't get too hopeful.

No. That was one of the worst decisions WOTC made with Modern Masters 2015, and for good reason- The packaging was terrible. Cards were damaged more often than not, duplicates of foils were common among other print errors, and it was TOO DAMN EASY to repack them. I will never buy Modern Masters 2015 ever again, and this is one of the main reasons why.

Don't bring the packaging back.

Most of that stuff was printing error, not packaging error......

I liked it since it was a premium-esque way to package the cards. Opening a box felt satisfying with the packaging.

That being said though, I did have concerns about the seemingly higher potential that people could repackage the cards and also that the packaging didn't keep the cards in mint condition.

If both of those issues could be avoided then I think it could be cool.

I really do appreciate what wizards was trying to do. But too many flaws with the packaging result in well...what everyone has already stated.

I wonder if they could try some kind of paper wrapping for the packaging next time...

If they fixed the problems with the packaging, I wouldn't be opposed to the design. Still, easily resealable packaging that damages cards is simply unacceptable. As long as that's a thing, I don't see the community being ok with it.

The packaging was awesome, but not really practical. Also what the Chief said.

Wow I just called you the Chief... Hmmmm, Now I think you should change your name to... MasterChiefBell. Or... Planeswalker117 hahaha. Oh man, sorry. I've been powering through HaloMaster Collection with a bunch of friends the past few weekends.
