Mardu Control

I'm a fairly new player to Magic (just switched over from the money pit that is Yugioh), and really like Mardu out of the new set. From looking around I see that it saw some success at Pro Tour both in Control/Plansewalker focus as well as in a more agressive Midrange build, and was wondering if it was possible to combine the two of them into something that has a decent amount of removal for board control with cards like Crackling Doom and Hero's Downfall , but still has some of the turn 3/4 aggressive options with cards like Goblin Rabblemaster and Butcher of the Horde . I'm mostly uncertain about the manabase, and think I might have too many Taplands to reliably get cards out on time, but I'm not sure. Thoughts?

I think brimaz is just over all better in a more control centered midrange because he can block while also generating great board presence and doesn't die to every removal in the format. When in doubt, try to upgrade to a set of fetches and maybe 2-3 evolving wilds with more basics
