I personally loathe all foil decks. The foiled look gets really irritating to watch after a few hours. I actually prefer decks with no foils at all. And to spend a huge chunk on foiling a deck? Gee... I dunno. To each their own, I suppose.

If you can justify paying nearly $4000 out of pocket including sleeves on a deck that you know you'll play with a lot, then sure, I guess. Your money, your decisions.

I personally wouldn't because $4000 is a shit ton of money that I could use for other things. Like food. Or savings. Or food.

Obviously you're at a place in your life where the extra 2300 dollars doesn't matter or you wouldn't be considering it.

If it's going to make your experience richer, I'd say go for it. If it's just for flash, and you tend to notice/get annoyed by things like having to occasionally shift your positioning because of the glare on the cards...it's probably not worth it.

Jesus, i'd love to be in a position where i could drop that much on cards and not bat an eye. Crap, i dropped 120 this week and I'm not sure it was worth it.

Anyways, I don't like to foil all of my decks, i just like foiling what cards i love most from the deck.

Foil the cards in your deck with the most impact. Make it so that when people see your foil cards, they know you are about to win. It will act as both a warning and a boast, and taunting before a victory makes it that much sweeter.

Your Choice, but if I were going to drop that kinda cash, I would put the extra 2300 into investment cards, hell work on a playset of duels ect.... Foil is cool and all but if you ever want to sell its a much smaller market for people willing to spend like that.

Again, if you have almost 4k to drop you probably are not worried about money

I have to echo the "buy duals" and add fetches to that. They have enough value and are relevant enough long term that they're a great investment.

thanks guys and yes I am at a point in my life where I work hard and have no bills :) I just finished my modern deck and I think since this is my only edh deck I probably will ever love this much im going to foil out all tge cheap stuff and see how I like it and if I like it I will just complete the foiling

That's probably a good place to start. Foil the cheap stuff and if you decide you like it keep going. I know a guy that foiled out his Edric EDH and it drove him absolutely insane that he couldn't have foil copies of things like Tropical Island and he ended up regretting bc it never felt complete

about what? not investing in fetches? I actually did not know they were going to reprint them but they were at some point and they would only go down
