Early impressions. —Sept. 22, 2017

Hella gross.

After starting 0-3, I have not lost a game since, probably 7 or 8 in a row. I normally don't like that in Commander but I've decided to keep this as my spikey deck and play it when my friends agree to go all out.

I made some changes, mostly increasing the Wheel count, adding a Mana Echoes and a few pay-off cards for it, and cutting a few expensive cards like Windreader Sphinx. When I untap after landing The Locust God, I don't want to cast a 7-drop. I want to go off. I'm not even sure if Consecrated Sphinx should be in here. Don't want too much competition at 6. Except for Arjun, the Shifting Flame. He's worth waiting a turn for.

All in all, gross as hell and fun to play. I'm not about to put it on the table against a bunch of pre-cons but if people are ready to really play, so are the bugs.
