jamiekingslayer First off, I'm glad you liked the deck! Now, Topplegeist is a card which I did consider since it is another 1 mana spirit, but it's not very efficient without delirium. And this deck literally can't activate delirium unless we draw the one Field of Ruin or the opponent runs land destruction.

Hmm i didnt think of that, i am blinded by tribal and estethics. But i like the disruptive feel of the deck!! I play merfolk myself and its a very unique gamestyle.

I aslo wonder, how effective is remand contra a pure counterspell? I have never played with it myself.

jamiekingslayer Remand is a really good tempo card. The main reason people run it is because it cantrips while also bouncing a card so we don't run out of threats to play. If you're playing real control, you'll probably want counterspells to permanently get rid of the opponent's spells. In an aggressive tempo deck, remand is better since you often only need to hold off a threat for one turn so you can swing for lethal. And the extra card is always nice. remand also offers all sorts of janky tricks which you can do (remanding your own spell to fizzle the opponents counterspell or just to draw a card if you're desperate, etc.)

jamiekingslayer There are quite a few tricks you can do with Remand. I don't know all of them since I'm a relatively inexperienced modern player. I do know that if you play storm you can remand your own Grapeshot to get extra value :P

Ps. Have you tried merfolk? What are the main differences, and which did you like?

jamiekingslayer Yes, I did try merfolk. Merfolk is generally more aggressive and less disruptive than spirits. I also played fairy tribal, which is on the other end of the spectrum (super-disruptive). I like spirits the best since they offer a more flexible game plan. Also because they cost the least bucks.
