I feel like this could be a good edit of the deck that takes a more controlling role later in the game but still has the sweet sweet sea gate stormcaller value.

Actually, I think you want to do Verazol, the Split Current alongside Sea Gate Stormcaller and this is why. X=0 so Verazol costs two just like Stormcaller. If you spent just GU, and X=0 it enters the battlefield with 2 +1/+1 counters on it. If you remove the counters to copy it sends itself back to the graveyard to be replayed by Lurrus. it can also copy kicked perms as well. And late game can be replayed as a larger threat.

Some updates. I got rid of some of the stuff that wasn't working and added Mire Triton. I think I am done with counter-spells in here. I don't like to have to wait to choose what to do and I am trying to cast everything else on my turn anyway. I am considering Thassa's Intervention though.

I looked at the green creatures with kicker that I could use with Lurrus, and there really isn't anything that would be worth it.

Soultai could be a good change because of the cards you can use like Scavenging Ooze n shit

Titus7007 LOL. After re-reading it's kinda hard not to. Spend a blue and a green and 0 on X for it to be a 2/2? Yes. And it can copy a kicked spell at 2? Yes. And I can make it bigger later? Yes. And it combos with Lurrus? Yes.

honestly, there is plenty of room in the mana base to accommodate green. I'll toss in a couple Zagoth Triome and maybe now I can run Heroic Intervention or that green spell that pumps up creatures and makes them fight, hmmm

A few notes: Verazol’s X has to equal 0 when cast by Lurrus. Also, Stormcaller copies the spell you cast, including whether it was kicked or not. And I think you can kick the spells you cast with Lurrus, might want to check via Arena.

You can definitely kick anything cast or copied by Lurrus and SeaCaller and you get the kicked copy. Play tested and Arena approved.
