kamarupa OMG THANK YOU!!! I knew I was missing something from the original deck I built, Enlightened Tutor was absolutely in this deck years ago when I assembled it!! Ugh, now I gotta figure out what I didn't have to get these in... Thank you for the comment, and I also see your point of view on the free Lightning bolt lol.

kamarupa absolutely, I cannot wait to see what you do to finalize this deck. With how fast paced, and powerful legacy builds are. I do feel this deck is a tiny bit slow IMO, but... When it does it's thing, just game over man...
I just posted up a new legacy build of my own, would love your thoughts :)

I like to think I'm open and reasonable, and I now see the advantage with both Hallowed Fountain and Flooded Strand over what I had before. I always have to remind myself that life is a resource as well. This deck is based on speed, and getting what you need out fast.

Balaam__, that all makes sense and the ability to fetch the land you "need" to progress your game is something I didn't think about. Hmm... More thinking to do.
Another card I was possibly thinking about sneaking in, but not sure it's really needed is, Energy Arc. Thoughts?

Balaam__, so maybe I'm thinking about this the wrong way... But I've never personally been a huge fan of fetch lands. I get the idea behind them, you pull a fetch land and then you can go and get the land you want, and get a shuffle. I see the power in that for sure, but. With a 60 card deck, why not just replace that fetch land with an actual useable land? You're limiting yourself to a minimum deck size so real estate is limited. And in my mind, you have just as much of a chance to draw that fetch land as you would a useable land without sacrificing up to four spots on a card to fetch another card.
If my thought process is wrong, I'm all open to learning the reason behind them!!

Balaam__, I've been on the fence with Temple of Enlightenment because I don't like tapped lands, and agree with you. But I did feel the scry could be worth the tapped land, I'll take this into serious consideration!

#1Forever evolving... So, decided to drop out the Spell Pierce for good old fashioned Counterspell. And I came across Doorkeeper Thrull and really liked what this guy can do, and give me another cheap flyer. Can it not only help get my Phyrexian Dreadnought and Eater of Days out without negative consequence. But helps keep other players creatures and artifacts from triggering abilities, and all at the same cost of Torpor Orb. Felt this was a win/win.
