Hey everybody, so this is my first EDH deck I've ever built and is subject to lots of changes and has changed a lot since I first made it on 06/28/2021. I'll do my best to lay out of all the nuances, tactics, and tricks this deck has up it's sleeve. If anybody has any suggestions, ideas, or comments please feel free to add them and I'll always discuss it and take it into consideration.

So the idea behind Toski's Horde is lots and lots of tokens. The main idea is to just overwhelm your opponents with a horde of tokens with the ability to beef them up in some instances pretty significantly. But what is a good EDH without multiple ways to win? Well, it would be a one sided and pretty venerable deck wouldn't it?!

If you're finding that creating an army of squirrels isn't going to happen. You can deck out Toski, Bearer of Secrets with tons of artifacts, and enchantments to give yourself a hard hitting, indestructible, life leeching, creature killing little squirrel god. And a plethora of other spells to protect him as well incase your opponents try to take your commander or you out of the game fast. Speaking of you yourself being taken out, you can also use Pariah's Shield to direct all damage you might receive to Toski, Bearer of Secrets who if setup with the right spells such as Commander's Plate , and Canopy Cover can take the brunt of most if not all damage without a single scratch.

If using Toski, Bearer of Secrets as a tank isn't your idea of fun. Then there are a handful of creatures you can build up significantly such as Craterhoof Behemoth with the help of the squirrel token army you can create.

Some other great combos to look out for are, Basalt Monolith and Nyxbloom Ancient . With this combo you're for sure to never run out of colorless mana. Start off by tapping Basalt Monolith for nine mana because of the secondary ability of Nyxbloom Ancient tripling your mana output from Basalt Monolith . Then activate Basalt Monolith for (3) to untap Basalt. Rinse and repeat, and enjoy the bounty of colorless mana! As well as having a 5/5 with trample on the battlefield.

Another great combo that can give you an infinite amount of squirrel tokens, Earthcraft pared with Squirrel Nest . Start off by enchanting a land with Squirrel Nest , then tap the land to produce a 1/1 squirrel token. Then activate Earthcraft by tapping the 1/1 squirrel token, which will then allow you to untap Squirrel Nest . Rinse and repeat for a horde of squirrel token creatures!

These last few combos all revolve around infinite mana capabilities paired up with Argothian Elder .

Argothian Elder + Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx + Wirewood Lodge for this one you are going to want to start off with a devotion to green of at least four. You're going to want to activate Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx secondary ability for (2) then activate Argothian Elder ability untapping both Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx and Wirewood Lodge . Then you'll untap Argothian Elder with Wirewood Lodge secondary ability, repeat the loop for infinite amount of green mana!

This next one is for those of you who are lucky enough to own a Gaea's Cradle . But exactly like the combination above but you're replacing Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx with Gaea's Cradle . If you have real deep pockets, might as well put both Gaea's Cradle and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx in this deck to increase your chances of having all the mana you could ever need.

This last combo comprises of having Argothian Elder , with Maze of Ith , and any color basic land such as a forest in our case. This combo is a little different as we're actually going to attack with Argothian Elder , then use Maze of Ith untap Argothian Elder , and once again using Argothian Elder to untap both Maze of Ith and a forest, giving you another source of infinite green mana!

So yeah, there it is the basics. There are other ways to win with this deck as well, but I listed the primary focus and big hitting combos. Play around with it, change it to your liking, have fun! And once again, all suggestions, ideas, comments are welcome!
