Deckling -

I first played MTG back in 1994, right around the releases of Revised and Forth Edition.

At the time we played unsleeved. We riffle shuffled and bent the crap out of our cards. I have all sorts of old cards now that look like they have gone through a sandblaster. We had no idea at the time what they would end up being worth.

We only played for a couple years, until the sets started to be really bad (Tempest and Mirage Blocks). I then forgot about magic, shoved the cards in the back of my closet and took about 15 years off from playing. It wasnt until a work friend mentioned that he and a group of buddies play this new format called "Elder Dragon" and that I should dig out my old cards it will be fun and cheap......

Fun, heck yahh..... cheap? not a chance.
