Zedruu and enchant's
Asked by gadiven 13 years ago
Say im playing zedruu and i play vow of duty on one of your creatures. I was just wondering would i still get the +1 life and +1 card from zedruu? since his creature now has the enchant on him and he controls the creature

Edit: Bazaar Trader will not work with enchantments, but the principle is the same. Use Donate instead.

No. You still control the enchantment. If you use Zedruu's ability to give him the enchantment then he could then attack you with the aforementioned creature. But if you want to draw cards off an enchant, try using something like O-ring or Arrest and then give an opponent control over it. The creature will remain locked under the enchantment regardless and you will draw and gain life.

No. You still control the aura, and as such the "you" in Vow of Duty refers to you. You'd have to pass control of Vow of Duty using Zedruu the Greathearted s ability or a similar effect, in which case the "you" in Vow of Duty would then refer to your opponent since he would control the enchantment, and you'd have buffed up your opponent's creature and made it impossible for that creature to attack him.

No. The enchantment is on his creature, but you still control it. If you were to somehow make your opponent gain control of it (Bazaar Trader ), then you would be able to collect the bonus on it.
