Will Rolling Stones allow my slivers with Dormant Sliver be able to attack?

Asked by Pheardemons 8 years ago

Pretty much all in the question. Gatherer doesn't say anything useful with this particular combo. So, if I have Dormant Sliver on the field, then I play Rolling Stones, will all of my slivers still be able to attack?

No. Rolling Stones only affects walls. Unless your Slivers are also Walls, they'll be unaffected.

No, Dormant Sliver does not give your slivers the creature type "wall". So they will still not be able to attack. See Axebane Guardian. He has defender yet is not a wall.

Rolling Stones would apply to creatures like Wall of Torches who have the creature type Wall.

Would Rolling Stones work on creatures with Defender that are given the Wall creature type, say by Conspiracy or Xenograft?

blazorthon, based on the answers they have provided it should be a yes. If you are changing a creature type (or giving another one in addition) and it is the type "WALL" Rolling Stones will affect that card and be able to let it attack.

Not quite sure what benefit that would have unless you're building a "Defender" based deck with those cards in it to get them to be walls as well.
