Will my Gyre Sage evolve when Elvish Archdruid comes into play?

Just wondering if Gyre Sage will still evolve when Elvish Archdruid comes into play since he gives the sage +1/+1
Short answer: No
From the rulebook:
611.3c Continuous effects that modify characteristics of permanents do so simultaneously with the permanent entering the battlefield. They dont wait until the permanent is on the battlefield and then change it. Because such effects apply as the permanent enters the battlefield, they are applied before determining whether the permanent will cause an ability to trigger when it enters the battlefield.
Example: A permanent with the static ability All white creatures get +1/+1 is on thebattlefield. A creature spell that would normally create a 1/1 white creature insteadcreates a 2/2 white creature. The creature doesnt enter the battlefield as 1/1 and thenchange to 2/2.

But when the ability goes on the stack, the effect of the archdruid's ability will give the Gyre Sage +1/+1 making it a 2/3.
I don't believe the ability will trigger, for the same reason the germ token doesn't die when it comes in attached to a living weapon. The Elvish Archdruid enters the battlefield, and the Gyre Sage is a 2/3 before the ability can be put on the stack...I think.

The Evolve ability on Gyre Sage won't trigger in this example. At the time Elvish Archdruid enters the battlefield, Sage is a 2/3 because of Archdruid's first ability. Because a 2/2 isn't bigger than a 2/3, Gyre Sage won't evolve.

No, it would be a 2/2 immediately and therefore evolve would be all like nah bruv he too dmsll, im gonna stay like i is.
