Who is the owner of Phelddagrif's tokens?

Phelddagrif says "Target opponent creates a 1/1 green Hippo creature token", but Phelddagrif has the ability, so if I used something like Homeward Path or Trostani Discordant, would I be able to take the tokens after I give them?

Your opponent is the owner of the token, so you will not be able to take the tokens, even though you controlled the effect which created them.

Rule 110.5a The player who creates a token is its owner. The token enters the battlefield under that player’s control.
