What happens if i gain control my opponents Pearl Lake Ancient and return 3 lands to my hand (Lands i own)? Does Pearl Lake Ancient return to my opponent's hand or mine?

What does ''owner'' literally mean in this scenario?

Your opponent's hand.

In general, cards that go to the graveyard or the hand or the library, go to their owner's hand, grave or library. The owner of the card is the person who started the game with that card in their library.

In this case reading the card will help: "Return Pearl Lake Ancient to its owner's hand".

Basically, the difference between the owner and the controller of a card is what matters here. The owner of a card generally doesn't change, whereas a player may become the controller of a card another player owns.

When talking about cards, "owner" means "the player who started the game with this card in his deck or sideboard". When talking about tokens, "owner" means "the player who controlled this token as it was created". The controller of an object may change during the course of a game, but the owner never will. Pearl Lake Ancient goes to its owner's hand, just like the ability says.

I believe there is only a single (non-un-set) card in magic that can return a card belonging to an opponent to your hand, and it's mega-banned in every format.
