Tri-land in a dual color edh

Asked by mikeyuhr 9 years ago

I have a Glissa, the Traitor edh deck, and I have a Opulent Palace in it. The land itself is colorless and shouldnt be an issue right? Obviously I'm only going to use it for black and green mana.

If a land has a mana ability that specifically produces a color outside of your commanders color identity it is not allowed, also lands of a basic land type that produces a mana outside of your commander color identity are not allowed either.

A land like Rupture Spire or Forbidden Orchard however would be allowed because it does not explicity produce any specific color.

Color identity includes all mana symbols in the text box of the card (except for reminder text).
