Terminus

Asked by babos86 11 years ago

If a player cast terminus and another player play an effect of a creature in the battlefield that allows him to put a token into the battlefield will the token remain into the battlefield or terminus will force it to go to the bbottom of the library?

It will force it to the bottom of the library. Terminus's effect doesn't begin until the spell resolves. So any creature on the battlefield at the time when Terminus resolves, will be affected by it.

Thank you very much. So the cloudshift will not work either in terminus or destroy all creatures?

No. With Cloudshift resolving before Terminus or Supreme Verdict (for example of destruction) the creature will be exiled and return to the battlefield, and will thus still be affected by the spell.

Also note that the token will not actually be put on the bottom of its owner's library. Tokens that leave the battlefield cease to exist as soon as state based actions are checked, so it will not physically end up in the library even if you represent said token with a card that can be found in booster packs.
