Teferi PW Emblem, The Chain Veil, and Karn Liberated

If I'm able to get Teferi, Temporal Archmage 's emblem, then -14 Karn Liberated , activate The Chain Veil and -3 himself, do the abilities stack so when the game resets, Karn enters the battlefield? Or because he removed himself from the game does the ult get countered?

Note that since loyalty counters are removed as a cost, you would need 18 counters on Karn to pull this off.

You will indeed begin the game with a Karn Liberated . As the source of the -14 and -3 abilities were the same, what lordoftheshadows posted applies, causing the game to restart with all non-aura permanents exiled with karn, INCLUDING himself, on the battlefield. You will lose the emblem, though.

He would return himself to the battlefield. Remember that abilities are independent of their sources. So even if Karn Liberated is exiled his last ability will still resolve as normal.
