Riku of Two Reflections & Evoke creatures
Asked by Talashar 12 years ago
So, i am unsure on this one.
If i have a Riku of Two Reflections
in play, and i Evoke say a Mulldrifter
and copy it with Riku, Will the second Mulldrifter be sacrificed after it enters the battlefield? Because it doesn't add text to the card like some other things do.

The copy isn't cast; it is only a token that enters the battlefield. Therefore it isn't cast for its evoke cost, nor is it affected by evoke. So it won't be sacrificed.

No, because as you play it, you don't pay the evoke cost. It's like flashbacking spells with "x"without paying their mana cost in Memory Plunder . So you'd cast one mulldrifter, it is sacrificed, and then you keep the other.
