Colorlesss man is not any color, it is what you pay for things like Blightsteel Colossus or just to pay X like Mistcutter Hydra or to pay the one colorless in cards like Akroan Skyguard . Just colorless mana can only be used for colorless mana not any color.

Any color or colorless mana may be used to pay colorless costs. Colorless costs appear as numbers or the letter X in a greyish brown circle like: , . If something costs you can spend or or any other combination.

Colored mana costs require the specified mana. For example: You cannot use to pay for , you must pay .

There's no such thing as mana of any/every color. When you add mana to your mana pool, it's one of two things: colorless or colored.

Colorless mana is exactly that -- colorless. It has no color. As such, it can't be used to pay for colored portions of costs.

Colored mana is mana of one of the five colors: white, blue, black, red, or green. Basic lands produce mana of their corresponding kind. Effects that allow you to add one mana of any color to your mana pool allow you to choose one color of mana and add one mana of that color to your mana pool.

You can use colorless mana to pay for the colorless portions of costs (for example, or ). Only colored mana can be used to pay for colored portions of costs. You can't use colorless mana to pay for , , , , or costs.

Also, as I said in your other thread, mana and lands are not the same thing. Plains, Island, Swamp, Mountain, and Forest are land types (and basic lands). They are not mana. , , , , and are mana. You don't add Plains, Islands, Swamps, Mountains, or Forests to your mana pool.
