Prime Speaker Zegana Interacitons with removal.

If one player casts Prime Speaker Zegana , whilst controlling a 2/2 (Grizzly Bears for the purpose of this example), and it enters with 2 +1/+1 counters on it, and then it's ability triggers, can i Doom Blade the Prime Speaker Zegana in response to its ability to stop my opponent from drawing any cards? Also, if i Bile Blight a 3/3 zegana in response to the trigger, will this change anything?

Once added to the stack abilities exist independent of their source, removing the source won't remove the ability.

• Doom Blade won't stop them from drawing cards because even through Prime Speaker Zegana will be in the graveyard by the time the card drawing ability resolves it will use the last known information of her power.

• Bile Blight however would work as you want it because the ability check for her power when it resolves. So if you can reduce her power to 0 or less they won't draw any card even though the ability still goes off.
