How does Nikya of the Old Ways interact with Castle Garenbrig?

If I use the Castle's ability, would I get 12 mana?

No, Nikya triggers when you tap the land, not when you get the mana. These happen at basically the same time, but it's not "whenever you get a mana from a land." Nikya of the Old Ways adds one mana regardless of how much you got when you tapped the land.

In this case, you'd pay and get that can only be spent on creatures from Castle Garenbrig and from Nikya's trigger that doesn't have Garenbrig's restriction.
