Milling out with Abundance
Asked by AkrosTheClear 6 years ago
my question is what happens if I only have lands left in my library and I go to draw with an Abundance on the battlefield choosing non-land?
Additionally, if you go to draw from an empty library while you control Abundance you can name "land" (or "nonland"), reveal nothing because you have no library, add nothing to your hand, and not lose the game, because you replaced a game losing draw with an effect that did nothing.

What will happen is you will reveal your entire library, since you'll never come across a nonland card to stop you. You don't get to put anything in your hand, since you never revealed "a card of the chosen kind," and then you can put your entire library in whatever order you want. That last part is kind of interesting - because think about it, you're putting every card in your library on the bottom "in any order."
