Marchesa and Fleshbag Marauder Resolution Question
Asked by NicholasBolas 10 years ago
So in one of my EDH decks I had Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and Marchesa, the Black Rose out on the battlefield when I put out Fleshbag Marauder .
Sacrificed Fleshbag to itself.
It comes back because of Mikaeus with a +1/+1 counter.
When it comes back in I sac it again to itself.
It comes back at the end of my turn because of Marchesa.
Then I sacrifice it again to itself.
Would Fleshbag come back immediately since it is at the end step and Marchesa brings back creatures at the end step or would it come back at the next player's end step?
My guess is the next player's end step but I am unsure.
Nice combo BTW, make them sacrifice 4 creatures on the first turn you cast Fleshbag Marauder and 2 creatures every turn thereafter (theirs included) until one of the combo pieces is removed... would be infuriating to play against.

Just to back up erabel, the creature comes back at the begging of your end step, which is to say 'as you enter your end step', all cards with this wording enter the stack at that moment, and can't enter the stack again until the following turn.
And yeah, cudos on the combo - vicious.

erabel says... Accepted answer #1
Well, it would come back immediately once, due to the Undying it gains re-triggering. At any rate, since you're already past the beginning of the end step, Marchesa wouldn't bring the Marauder back again until your opponent's end step.
