Mana Maze + Scrapbasket 's ability

If I have a Mana Maze in play and i cast Scrapbasket, and then activate on the same turn his ability to make him all colors, would that prevent my enemy from casting any spells (and me, of course)?

Scrapbasket's ability functions only on the battlefield. Scrapbasket is no longer a spell at that point, and it was a colorless spell, so it does not interact with Mana Maze.
Transguild Courier is all colors in all zones. Therefore, it shuts down all colored spells if you cast it while Mana Maze is out. Because it's all colors, though, it would need to be the first colored spell cast on a turn in order to actually be legal to cast.
