Knight of the White Orchid and Shocklands?

Knight of the White Orchid : Search for "a plains card". This seems obvious to me, I just wanted to make sure that a shock land like Hallowed Fountain is indeed a valid target. Is it?

Yeah it is. If it would have said "Search for a basic Plains then it wouldn't be but you can tutor for a card with the Plains type.
