Infinite Damage?

Asked by BlckGaming 13 years ago

If I used Sanguine BondMTG Card: Sanguine Bond and Exquisite BloodMTG Card: Exquisite Blood together, is that infinite damage?

Absolutely. They trigger each other indefinitely (well at least until someone dies).

I foresee that being used a lot in future mono black and black/red decks

Note that this combo does not deal damage; rather, it causes loss of life.

And red has some of the best ways to deal instant damage

It's kind of risky to build your deck around a combo between two 5-drop enchantments, but I suppose it's doable.

It is risky. Maybe a good finisher but it would take at least 2 turns to set up let alone get the loop going.

It's even better than the old combo, Sanguine BondMTG Card: Sanguine Bond and Blood TributeMTG Card: Blood Tribute. It's cheaper, doesn't require a vampire to tap, can be triggered by any opponent losing life or you gaining life, and kills all of your opponents at once.

and if you play the Sanguine BondMTG Card: Sanguine Bond on turn 5, then Exquisite BloodMTG Card: Exquisite Blood turn 6, you can also play Bump in the NightMTG Card: Bump in the Night and win.
