Humility and Eminence in the Command Zone

Can Humility affect a commander with Eminence while in the Command Zone?
I would think its not affected.... I assume that if the commander is in the battlefield, the creature will lose the abilities like others ... but does Comand Zone get affected by Humility?
For example, while in the comand zone, Edgar Markov's Eminence ability would still work in this scenario.

Humility says that each creature loses all abilities. A creature is a type of permanent on the battlefield, usually represented by a creature card, but sometime represented by a card with a different type or a token. A commander in the command zone is a creature card (or sometimes a planeswalker card), but not a creature, so it is not affected by Humility, as you assumed.
