How many planeswalkers?

How many planeswalkers can you have in your deck/how many may be on the battlefield at the same time?

There's no limit to how many planeswalkers can be in your deck except for the regular deck construction restrictions (only 4 of a single card, unless you're playing Commander in which case it's only 1). However, on the battlefield, you can only control one planeswalker of each planeswalker type. For example, you can have Chandra Ablaze and Jace Beleren on the field at the same time, but if you play Jace, Memory Adept , you'll have to choose one of your two Jaces and put it in the graveyard.
