How do Arcane Laboratory and Zur the Enchanter *f-etch* work together?

Does Zur's ability count as the enchantment being cast? Is it hindered by the Lab's "one spell each turn" power?

Arcane laboratorys text was errata'd to "Each player can't cast more then one spell each turn." This means that if you put an enchantment into play with Zur you can still cast a spell for the turn.

Arcane Laboratory uses some arhaic wording. Players can't "play" spells; they can only cast spells, so what it's really saying is that players can't cast more than one spell per turn.
So where does the word "play" exist now? You can only play lands, and if you cheat something into play with an effect such as that of Zur the Enchanter , then this is not having cast it.
In summary, Zur's ability will not stop you from casting your one spell for the turn, nor will casting your one spell for the turn stop you from using Zur's ability.

No, it's doesn't count. Putting a card into play (ex: Show and Tell isn't the same as casting a spell.
From the comprehensive rules text: "To cast a spell is to take it from where it is (usually the hand), put it on the stack, and pay its costs, so that it will eventually resolve and have its effect." So if you cheat a card into play with Zur, you can still cast a spell.
