How do -1/-1 counters and enchantments work??

Asked by Mr.Himer 1 year ago

If I have Myrkul, Lord of Bones and Devoted Druid on the battlefield and Devoted Druid dies, I can then exile it with Myrkul, Lord of Bones second ability to create a token enchantment copy of Devoted Druid. How would the untap ability on Devoted Druid interact with the token as it no longer has an assigned toughness and isn't a creature? I would assume that I can still put the -1/-1 counters on it and it just becomes an infinite mana combo as long as it doesn't become a creature. Is that how the interaction works or am I missing something? Thank you for the help!!

You have how it works correct. You can place a counter to untap the enchantment and the has no meaning on enchantments so you can make infinite green mana.
