Hangarback Walker/General LTB Question

I was wondering if (because of wording) you had a Hangarback Walker enchanted with Mechanized Production when the copy of Hangarback entered and died if the living Hangarback would trigger because a Hangarback Walker died and create an amount of thopters equal to it's own amount of counters.

No. When a card references its own name, it's referring to itself, not to other cards with the same name. Your first Hangarback Walker won't care that the token copy died, only the token copy will (and won't make any thopters due to having no counters).

Exceptions will be clear when they refer to any card with that name and not just that specific instance. Accumulated Knowledge, for instance, actually states that it counts "cards named Accumulated Knowledge" in all graveyards for its effect. "Draft matters" cards from the two Conspiracy sets may also care about any card with a given name, such as Animus of Predation, but again they specify. Tokens created by Deathpact Angel will get any Deathpact Angel out of the graveyard, not just the one that made them. All of these examples actually have the text "card(s) named" in them.

Hangarback Walker would have to read "When a creature named Hangarback Walker dies" for the effect you want to work.
