Genesis Hydra and ETB effects

Genesis Hydra

Specifically Prime Speaker Zegana . Scenario where you cast Hydra for 9. A monstrous' Polukranos, World Eater sits on the board at 8. Among the cards revealed from the casting of the Hydra is Zegana, you choose him/her. Zegana hits the board first, before Genesis Hydra fully resolves.

So does this mean when you draw from Zegana, you draw from the cards you reveal, then peel from the top of your deck? In games prior i have been letting the Hydra resolve, shuffling my deck, then drawing. But after reading the cards, i think i may have been in error...

You cast Genesis Hydra , and the revealing effect is being put on the stack. When that resolves, you choose to put Prime Speaker Zegana on the battlefield, then shuffle the rest of the cards revealed into your library as part of the same ability. Zegana creates it's own ability on the stack, at which point the cards revealed with Genesis Hydra will be shuffled into the library already - you get to draw the top 9 cards (assuming you control Polukranos, and it's your strongest creature) after shuffling. Finally, Genesis Hydra enters the battlefield with the appropriate number of counters on it.

Well, correctly as in the same result as your explanation, as far as how to draw the cards...
