Flameshadow Conjuring and Dawnbreak Reclaimer
Asked by StopShot 9 years ago
If I use Flameshadow Conjuring to copy my Dawnbreak Reclaimer what happens to the copy at the beginning of my end step? Will the token of my reclaimer get to use its end step ability, or will it be exiled before it gets the chance to do so? Thanks for the help!

Whenever a trigger event occurs, all abilities that trigger for that event trigger simultaneously. If one player controls multiple triggered abilities, he or she puts them onto the stack in the order of his or her choosing.
Additionally, once an ability triggers or is activated, it exists independently of its source. Removing the source of an ability doesn't counter the ability itself.
Flameshadow Conjuring's ability creates a delayed triggered ability (DTA) that is used to exile the token at the beginning of the next end step.
Dawnbreak Reclaimer just has its own innate triggered ability that triggers at the beginning of your end step.
Assuming it's your end step, both the DTA and Dawnbreak Reclaimer's ability will trigger, so you'll choose the order in which they go onto the stack. Remember that objects on the stack resolve in reverse order, so the last ability you add to the stack will resolve first.
In this case, it doesn't matter what order you choose. Because it's on the stack, Dawnbreak Reclaimer's ability will still resolve regardless of whether Dawnbreak Reclaimer is still on the battlefield.

At the beginning of the step, all abilities that trigger are put on the stack. You do get to arrange them, but that doesn't matter, as abilties are independent of their sources (so even if the creature leaves the battlefield, the ability will resolve).
But yes, both Dawnbreaker's abilties will trigger and resolve. Because you choose (and don't have to target) the creatures that will get returned this way, you also get to return Dawnbreaker Reclaimer itself if your opponent chooses it, because choices are made on resolution!

you choose how the triggers are put onto the stack, so you get to use the reclaimer's too.
