Exiling question

If Grasp of Fate is used to exile two creatures, and then Oblivion Ring is cast targeting Grasp of Fate and does resolve- what then will happen to the two original creatures exiled by grasp? Will they return? Will they be exiled forever?

When Grasp of Fate leaves the battlefield for any reason, the permanents exiled by its ability will return to the battlefield.
