Energy Field interactions

I'm thinking about running Energy Field but before I get I just wanted to clarify that tokens are not cards, right? Thank you for your answers in advance.
Note though that casting instant and sorcery spells will generally make you sacrifice Energy Field though, as they are put into your graveyard when they resolve. So will discarding or milling cards.

Correct, tokens are not cards.
