Once an Emblem (from a Plainswalker), is put onto the battle field is there anyway to remove or get rid of it.

Note that emblems don't exist on the battlefield. They exist in the command zone.

Karn Liberated's last ability gets rid of emblems if I'm not mistaken. The only way that I can think of.

Killing the player that owns the emblem also works.

"Killing the player that owns the emblem also works." This means the player who originally got the emblem (and still has it unless a new card allows emblems to change controllers). If Ob Nixilis Reignited gives you an emblem, your stuck with it until you win or lose, killing the person who gave it to you only helps you get closer to winning, it doesn't get rid of it.
113.2: An effect that creates an emblem is written [Player] gets an emblem with [ability]. This means that [player] puts an emblem with [ability] into the command zone. The emblem is both owned and controlled by that player.

Currently, there's no way to interact with Emblems. Once it's created, it's there to stay. Of course, this may change when new cards are printed.
Also, it's Planeswalkers, not Plainswalkers. Zodiac Rooster is a Plainswalker :)
