Dress Down interaction

If I have Opalescence on the battlefield, then I cast Dress Down, what even happens? Because Dress Down becomes a creature, it loses its static ability that causes creatures to lose all abilities. Therefore, it gains the ability back, then loses it, etc.
Do I have this hypothetical interaction correct?
Assuming your casting Dress Down with Opalescence already in play, you also will not draw a card.

Dress Down will lose all of its abilities, and be a 2/2 creature. It will not need to be sacrificed at the end of turn.
Because the 'creatures lose all abilities' ability has already applied, it will not be affected due to layering. It won't cycle forever. This is also the case if it becomes a creature for any other reason.
