Doubt with Ramses, Assassin Lord wording

Asked by Aspitxon 1 year ago

This question only makes sense on formats where more than 2 players play i.e. Commander. What does the "controlled" mean? Let's imagine that I control an assassin, Royal Assassin for example, and an opponent takes control of said assassin and attacks another opponent who loses the game on that turn. Would I win the game if I control Ramses, Assassin Lord?

Ramses, Assassin Lord cares about the controller of the assassin when the attack was made. The entire sub clause of the "win the game" ability must be considered as a whole.

So if I get it right you must be the controller of the assassin when the attack was made. That's what I thought but the wording makes it a little confusing.
