Does Undying get around Trapjaw Tyrant's ability?

If I attack with a Trapjaw Tyrant and my opponent blocks with his only creature, a Young Wolf with no counters, does the wolf get exiled or does it come back with a counter on it?

It comes back. Here's why (in order of events):
1. The damage is dealt.
2.The wolf's persist trigger, and trapjaw 's trigger both go on the stack.
3. You pick the target fot trapjaw's trigger when it goes on the stack.
4. Since young wolf is not currently in play, it can not be chosen. If no other target exists, trapjaw's ability does nothing.
5. Young wolf's persist trigger resolves returning it to play.
6. Trapjaw's ability resolves if it had a different target.
