Does Scourglass kill artifact creatures

Scourglass destroys everything except artifacts and lands, but are artifact creatures also destroyed?

No, an artifact creature like say Arcbound Ravager wouldn't be destroyed, likewise an animated land or something like Dryad Arbor would be safe as well. All Scourglass cares about is if they are one of those two types, if it has other types as well it doesn't matter.

Always check the Gatherer rulings before asking a question.

10/1/2008: Any permanent that's an artifact or a land won't be destroyed, regardless of what other card types it may have.
