Does phasing out creatures protect them from being affected by board wipes?

If i had Teferi's Veil on my board and a creature tapped and attacking, that creature would phase out post combat, if the next opponents turn they cast a board wipe such as Terminus or Blasphemous Act what would happen to that creature?

702.25b If a permanent phases out, its status changes to phased out. Except for rules and effects that specifically mention phased-out permanents, a phased-out permanent is treated as though it does not exist. It cant affect or be affected by anything else in the game. A permanent that phases out is removed from combat. (See rule 506.4.)
Nothing happens to the creature. It will be unaffected.
