Does mimic vat work with enter the battlefield effects?

So the question is, if I make a copy of a card with an enter the battle field effect with Mimic Vat , like for instance I copy Acidic Slime , would I get the enter the battlefield effect from the acidic slime token?
Tokens enter the battlefield, so any enter the battlefield effects that token has will trigger. So, for your example, the token Acidic Slime 's second ability will trigger and you will destroy a target artifact, enchantment, or land.
Rule 110.5a: The player who creates a token is its owner. The token enters the battlefield under that player's control.(Emphasis added).

Yes, any ETB abilities on the token created by Mimic Vat will trigger when you create it.
Creating a token causes it to enter the battlefield, and anything that cares about an object with one or more of that token's characteristics entering the battlefield will notice it, including abilities on the token itself.
