Does Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest afftect Mycoloth entering?

As Mycoloth enters it's devour trigger happens, but with Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest and I quote -Whenever a player sacrifices another permanent, put a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control.-
Is it basicly has devour 3 and your remaining creatures get a buff? Cool.

It works a bit different than devour 3 would, so not really.

Devour is not a triggered ability. It is a replacement effect that modifies how Mycoloth enters the battlefield.
Because devour is a replacement effect, it happens as Mycoloth enters the battlefield. For each creature you devour that isn't Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest, you'll trigger Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest's ability. These abilities will be put onto the stack after Mycoloth finishes resolving, so Mycoloth will be among the creatures that receive the counters.
