Does Damnation destroy an animated Darksteel Citadel

Hi. I have a Darksteel Citadel, animated into a 5/5 with Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas. I cast Damnation. My opponent is having some trouble believing that the Citadel remains unaffected. could someone please clear this up? Thanks

Turning a non-creature into a creature doesn't cause it to lose any abilities, unless the effect doing it specifically says so (Titania's Song). The Darksteel Citadel in your example still has Indestructible, so Damnation won't destroy it.
