Does Conduit of Ruin pay for colored mana?

If I play Conduit of Ruin Could I play a Forerunner of Slaughter for example

No.

First, Conduit of Ruin has a cost reduction. It doesn't pay for anything; it reduces the cost that you have to pay.

Second, the cost reduction is . This means that the cost is reduced by two generic mana. It doesn't affect colored mana requirements because it doesn't say that it affects colored mana requirements.

No. It only reduces the cost of colorless mana. Cards like Ragemonger Are examples of cards that reduce colored mana.
