If I have a Deadeye Navigator and a Council of the Absolute can I blink Council of the Absolute say, three times, and will the three cards I name be unplayable, or just the third one? Thanks a lot.

I believe that it would only be the third card. Council of the Absolute 's effect only lasts as long as the card is on the field.

Only the last one.

The card you choose with Council of the Absolute will only be affected while that particular instance of it is on the battlefield. When you flicker it, it's a completely new object with no relation to its previous existence.

When you blink Council, it enters as a new creature. That new creature doesn't have the attributes as the last one, so it doesn't know it names the last card. So the last card can't be played.

"Your opponents can't cast cards with the chosen name." Is a static ability tied to the Council of the Absolute that is currently on the battlefield.

Blinking means the existing restrictions are removed as each time Council of the Absolute re-enters it is considered to be a new permanent. So only the 3rd choice would be in effect.

You will only get to name 1 card for a single Council of the Absolute since the second ability relies on information from the first and you only name one card when it enters. The way it works is say you name Pithing Needle when he first comes out. The council naming Pithing Needle is exiled when you blink it. Council of the Absolute re-enters and is a new object with nothing being named, you now get to name a card that cannot be played but the new coincil has no memory of the object it used to be.
