Clarification on Goldberry, River-Daughter

Asked by CamraMaan 1 year ago

Sorry, this is another seemingly silly question, but... when I use the first ability of Goldberry, River-Daughter while she has no +1/+1 counters on her, but I have five other creatures with +1/+1 counters on them, I'm assuming she will get one +1/+1 counter from each of them, correct? The other option being only one... if she was taking a counter from each creature as individual actions on the stack, then I would expect only one, as each resolution on the stack would then see she already has one. But with all five coming from one ability resolving on the stack, she should get all five, correct?

"...from another TARGET PERMANENT you control..." means you choose and target exactly one other permanent you control, then ONE counter (of each kind) is moved from the other permanent onto Goldberry in case she doesn't alredy have one.
